February 2015

Kevin and Erik meet at a conference in San Francisco and become fast friends.

February 2016

Ossium Health is incorporated on February 8th, 2016. Both founders soon quit their jobs to work on Ossium full-time.

June 2017

Ossium accepts its first vertebral body donors.

May 2018

Ossium raises more than $10M in Series A funding lead by First Round Capital and joined by Village Global.

January 2020

Ossium achieves Phase I GMP and banks its first clinical-grade donor, setting the stage for clinical trials.

October 2020

Ossium raises $63M in Series B funding, co-led by Vivo Capital and General Catalyst. Manta Ray Ventures, First Round Capital, and XYZ Capital also back the Series B.

November 2021

First patient treated with Ossium's CD34+ product in the multivisceral transplant study at Columbia University Medical Center.

July 2023

Ossium raises a $52 million Series C funding round. The round was led by CPMG, with participation from Vivo Capital, First Round Capital, Manta Ray Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and Asahi Kasei.

November 2023

First patient treated with OssiGraft, marking Ossium's entry into orthopedics.

June 2024

First patient successfully treated and engrafted with Ossium's HPC, Marrow in a bone marrow transplant at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI.

August 2024

Ossium begins partnership with the US Government's Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to advance the use of HPC, Marrow for radiological and nuclear emergencies.
